ABOUT ME
MY STORYTHE DANCE HISTORY —
I began ballet as a toddler and trained through Vagonova levels in high school. My local ballet studio in Kansas City, Missouri provided local touring opportunities, technical exams, full length ballets, and variations.
In college I was formally introduced to post modern dance techniques, which included graded juries in Ballet, Graham, and Horton technique. The UMKC Conservatory provided performance opportunities including dance concerts, flash mobs, music videos, interactive and installation based work, site specific work and more.
Professionally, I dance in choreographed works for site specific projects, evening length concert performances, world premieres, dance festivals, and films. Most recently, I have had the pleasure of dancing in evening length improvised collaborations.
